The Specht & Sohne 5167 follows the integrated-bracelet sports watch template but takes it somewhere warmer: a rose-toned case, an embossed brown dial with a fine repeating texture, and a moulded rubber strap that flows straight out of the case with no visible lugs. At 40mm it lands in the sweet spot, substantial on the wrist without overhanging a narrow one.Inside is a Miyota 8215 automatic, a Japanese movement with a long service record and a reputation for running for years on nothing more than being worn. Sapphire crystal covers the dial, the case is rated to 50 metres of water resistance for rain and hand washing, and the rubber strap fastens with a simple pin buckle you can adjust in seconds.Fifty metres is a splash rating rather than a swimming one, so take it off before the pool.
